Perfect for a Family Getaway

The location was superb, visiting the Cellar Door wine tasting was the best. The Reception staff were really friendly and efficient, making our family feel welcomed.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but you know what, it was still bearable.

Comfy stay with a view

We stayed for a couple of nights and loved our huge room with a balcony. The view was super peaceful, perfect for chilling out. Breakfast was good too, lots of options. Had a minor hiccup with our bed arrangement, but it didn’t ruin our fun. The staff were friendly and helpful, overall a nice place to relax.

This place suits me perfectly with great amenities like free parking, a fitness centre, and a wonderful restaurant. I remember the staff kindly returned my forgotten earpods. I'm looking forward to coming back for a weekend!

great for exploring stunning gardens and local art attractions

we celebrated a special family occasion here and found the staff to be incredibly helpful and attentive. The beautiful views during breakfast made each morning feel like a treat. if you’re like me and love strolling through gardens, you won’t want to miss Alowyn Gardens just 500 meters away, and the TarraWarra Museum of Art is an absolute must-visit, situated less than a 10-minute drive away, perfect for a weekend stroll while soaking up some culture.

Spacious one-bedroom suite features a private spa bath with stunning valley views. The location offers nearby attractions like wineries, making it a great spot for relaxation and exploration.

We encountered some issues during our stay, particularly with cleanliness—coffee supplies weren’t replenished and the rooms felt neglected. The layout of the suite was awkward, especially with the entrance through the second bedroom, compromising privacy. The lack of a proper shower base caused water to spill onto the floor, creating an uncomfortable experience. Additionally, the furniture showed signs of wear, and the uncomfortable pillows added to the dissatisfaction for a supposed luxury suite.

our stay at balgownie estate was wonderful. the views were spectacular, and the one-bedroom suite with a spa bath was clean and comfy. We loved dining at 1309. the food was fantastic and service was attentive. plus, we appreciated the eco-friendly solar power that fueled the indoor pool.

the spa's early closing time could be improved.

The room offered a king-size bed and a balcony with a fantastic view of the valley, making for a cozy and spacious stay. Breakfast was a delight, featuring a breakfast buffet with satisfying options. However, during my visit, the restaurant had limited hours and was often fully booked, causing inconvenience. Additionally, service at times felt disorganized, which detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience.

Had an amazing time with friends! We enjoyed the pool and explored nearby attractions like the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Healesville Sanctuary. The in-room dining was great, and the place is ideal for group vacations. Definitely recommend trying out the local chocolate and ice cream!

One downside was the food quality during our stay. it left much to be desired, like overpriced and bland breakfast choices. This can be a letdown after a fun day.

A Romantic Escape to Remember!

We spent a delightful night celebrating our anniversary, enjoying a dinner of exquisite dishes in Rae's restaurant. The staff, especially Laura, made our experience feel special. Beautiful views from our room added to our romance. Don't miss the walking track, perfect for morning strolls!

The one-bedroom suite offers a spacious layout with a cozy king-size bed and a private spa. Views of the valley are fine. The indoor pool and steam room provide relaxation options. The dining experience was nice with a great wine list. Service was attentive throughout my stay. 🍷

Just a suitable option for a passing visit in Yarra Glen with great value. The bottle of wine included with the room was a nice touch. Consider checking in early for better room selection.
